Kris De Meester, Chairman, Health and Safety Working Group, BusinessEurope will present his thoughts on creating an engaged workforce by having a positive approach to psychosocial risks in the workplace.

Stephen Martin, Director General of the Institute of Directors (IoD) will give a keynote presentations followed by a Q&A session.

The future of work: the gig economy is becoming one of the biggest shake-ups in working practices since the Industrial Revolution and forecasters are indicating that it could affect 50% of the working population by 2020. Hear the thoughts of our expert panel - Matthew Taylor (RSA), Shelley Frost (IOSH), Seamus Nevin (IoD), Roger Walker (WeAreTheFuture)

ISO 45001 breakfast briefing: Richard Jones, Head of Policy and Public Affairs will share the latest news on ISO 45001, what it looks like, how it differs from OHSAS 18001 and what the big issues are for organisations seeking to adopt it. 

Inspirational keynote from Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson: In her presentation ‘Achieving your goals’, Tanni will discuss her political, business and sporting experiences, highlighting the importance of planning for success, team work, forward vision and aspiration.

An interactive debate: Get involved in the discussion and have your thinking challenged in the panel debate ‘Populism, Brexit and H&S in a changing world’ chaired by Lawrence Waterman OBE, Founding Partner, Park Health and Safety Partnership. The panel are now confirmed as Bill Gunnyeon (Chair of BoT, IOSH), Terry Wooler (EEF), Bridget Leathley (The Safer Choice), Doug Florence (SafeMech).

Future businesses - achieving healthy performance and productivity: Find out how future-focused organisations and individuals are making meaningful contributions to performance, productivity, profitability and supporting resilient, sustainable businesses.
