Frank is a journalist, author and Security Correspondent for a national broadcaster, reporting on events from Afghanistan to piracy off the Somali coast to Arctic challenges. In 2004 he was shot 6 times at close range while on assignment in Saudi Arabia which left him severely wounded and dependent on a wheelchair. Frank was awarded an OBE by HM The Queen in 2005 for services to journalism. Frank has also written four Sunday Times bestsellers: ‘Blood and Sand’, ‘Far Horizons’, his debut novel ‘Crisis’, which went straight to No 1 on the Sunday Times bestseller list and the follow-up ‘Ultimatum’.
